The network’s big reality experiment, “Utopia,” starts the new schedule with a three-night premiere on Sept. 7 — kicking off a two-month roll-out for originals.
The new reality series, which will regularly occupies two hours a week on the broadcast network, launches Sunday, Sept. 7, before moving into its regular Tuesday and Friday slots later that week.
Scripted series arrive over the course of the following weeks, with comedies New Girl and The Mindy Project first up (Sept. 16) and Red Band Society airing the night afterwards. Gotham and last year’s success Sleepy Hollow bow on Monday Sept. 22.
Most of the Sunday lineup (The Simpsons, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Family Guy) arrives on Sept. 28, with the rest (Mulaney, Bob’s Burgers) coming on the following week. The last premiere comes Nov. 7 with the second season of MasterChef Jr.
