hris Pratt’s Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord) gathers together the Guardians of the Galaxy and (tries) to motivate them to save the universe in the latest look at the upcoming Marvel film.
Fandango debuted an action-packed new trailer Monday night, featuring scenes of Zoe Saldana fighting and a gun-wielding Rocket Racoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper).
“Do you know what I see when I look around? Losers,” Quill tells his fellow Guardians. “I mean, like folks who have lost stuff. Their homes, families. And we’re facing a threat that could destroy us all.”
Rocket Racoon later asks Quill why he wants to save the galaxy, and he points out that he’s one of the people living in it.
The rest of the trailer features other deadpan moments fans have come to expect from the previous previews of the film, including an extended look at the scene in which Quill says he has “part of a plan,” or “12 percent of a plan,” which prompts Rocket Racoon’s (possibly fake) laugh.
