Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have welcomed their second child, a daughter named Delta. The proud new father announced the news on Twitter on Friday. He wrote, “Delta Bell Shepard is here. She doesn’t look like either @IMKristenBell or me, but we’re gonna keep her anyway. #christmascameearly.”
Bell herself posted this message on Twitter: The estrogen has now hit critical mass! Good luck, @daxshepard1. And welcome to the world DELTA BELL SHEPARD :).” It was accompanied by a picture… of what appears to be a mother gorilla hand clutching her baby’s (see below). Anyone hoping for an actual picture of Delta will have to wait.The couple’s first daughter, Lincoln, is 21 months old. Bell and Shepard were married in 2013. He recently debuted an adorable tattoo of a bell on his wedding finger to honor their relationship. Shepard and Bell revealed that she was expecting a second baby back in June.
Recently, the couple has been starring in some very sweet, very entertaining commercials for Samsung, showing off their wedded domestic bliss. In the most recent spot, tied to Christmas, Bell has an extra-large stocking because she’s “stocking for two” this year. As Shepard pointed out on Friday, Christmas has come early for the family.
