Oh, no! Zayn Malik has dropped out of the One Direction world tour due to stress allegedly caused by the recent allegations he cheated on his fiancee, Perrie Edwards.
Zayn Malik, 22, has broken the hearts of millions after it was confirmed that he has dropped out of One Direction‘s current tour. Apparently, it’s “stress” that caused Zayn to leave the tour, which many are assuming was caused by the claims he cheated on his fiancee, Perrie Edwards, with a mystery blonde girl hollywoodinsight.com previously identified as Lauren Rich.
Directioners, this is terrible news for the fandom. Can you imagine 1D without Zayn? No, of course you can’t.
Unfortunately it’s no longer something to imagine, it’s a reality, confirms Simon Jones, the band’s UK rep. Zayn has dropped out of the tour temporarily due to “stress” and won’t return back to the band until March 28.
“Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate. The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta,” reads a statement from Simon, posted on his Twitter account.
It is also being reported that Zayn pulled out of recording a commercial with the group in Japan on Thursday, March 19, and flew home to the UK to deal with the aftermath of his alleged cheating.
Since Zayn will not be with the band until the 28th, he is going to miss a total of three shows. Two of those shows are in the Philippines, where the band was allegedly asked to pay $5,000 each in case they are caught smoking marijuana. The third show is in Jakarta, Indonesia. Fans in those areas must be so bummed to hear about this!
